The customer service is shit, I purchased a modem from a garage sale about 1 year ago... called Charter and asked them if the modem was legit, they said yes and activated the modem. I have been using the modem for the past 10-12 months with no issues, I get my latest bill and I see a 3.00 charge WTF? The cs person told me to take it up with the office? Their customer services sucks big. I wish this company would bankrupt. Too bad their are no other options in my area. I was having speed issues for about two months when they took over and they kept trying to say it was my "router" they finally came out and it was something outside!

| Re: Wave SUCKS !!! And if the modem was one commonly used by Wave or the previous company, the tech might have thought it was the company's modem and saw you weren't paying for it. I can see a tech not asking because some people, like the OP, get beligerent about small charges.
Keep in mind the modem might actually have been Wave's or Charter's, however the garage sale guy got rid of the service and never returned the modem. then I could really see them charging you since it's their modem. | |
