Re: Cogent's Quality isn't inferior I also had a T1, and a 10mbit Ethernet Handoff/Colo in their Milwaukee POP.
While the network was rock solid when I was with them, I would not recommend Colocating in their Milwaukee POP. Residential Lockbox on the door was the extent of the facility's security, and being 3 years since I stopped my service, took a trip over to the pop out of curosity to see if they increased security their, and the password on the box has not changed 
But once again, network was ROCK SOLID!
