I called customer service today and they had no clue nhl network was coming. The nhl site said the next few days I just hope Verizon don't put it off

Any clue as to what channels it will be sd&hd
Let me just quote one of the comments Mr. Rabe left to his own blog:

"NHL Network will launch soon and be rolled out to FiOS TV subscribers on a market-by-market basis. It will be part of the FiOS TV Extreme HD package (SD channel 87/HD channel 587). If you live within the NY Metro area, the NHL Network will be part of the sports package.

That sucks, why is it exactly that the NYC area has to pay more for these sports channels while everyone else gets them in the Extreme HD package?

Why is that NY/NNJ get the Extreme HD package for the price of the Essentials package? That doesn't suck, now does it?
