| Yes, this Sprint vs Cogent affected ME in a big way! I own a small web design firm (it's just me) and have 20+ clients that I also host with Readyhosting. Readyhosting is a Cogent customer. My ISP uses Sprint for their broadband connection. What that boiled down to (until today) was that I had no access to any of my client sites. If this had kept up, I would have had to move all of my clients to a different webhosting service and that would have been a BIG pain in the butt! I may be a little guy (or gal, in this case) but this little spat seriously hurt me for several days. I feel like the tenant who gets kicked out of her home because the landlord defaulted on the mortgage....  |
