I cant believe this. Once again the speeds have gone to hell. I had no trouble with RR in past few years but since this summer everything has gone down hill.
I have an SB4200 - they gave me this model at the service center after I turned in my old SB4100. I wanted something newer than SB4200 but that is what they gave me. I am in the south Durham area.
Speedtest:
Downstream Signal: Frequency 609000000 Hz Locked Signal to Noise Ratio 28 dB Power Level 2 dBmV
Upstream signal Channel ID 2 Frequency 33000375 Hz Ranged Power Level 44 dBmV

reply to newsman0 Your downstream signal/noise ratio is substandard. Make sure there is no more than one splitter between where the cable enters the house and the modem's input, verify that all connections are tight and look for damaged cables, connectors and/or splitters. If you don't discover anything, a tech will need to come out.
reply to newsman0 Got a truck roll today. Tech was like my modem (SB4102) is ancient.. He had the SB5101 in his hand when I answered the door.
As soon as it was swapped out I got this for speed:
That's a lot better than the speeds posted above. Tech told me the SB4101 is being phased out as it doesn't handle the faster speeds well. I am happy again
