Re: [OS X] Dropping Internet Connection using Open DNS Yeah. Well...a Time Capsule, which is an AirPort Extreme with a hard drive inside it. Haven't had any problems yesterday or today, so maybe it was something temporary that's cleared up? |

I did on the 26th, but I don't think that had anything to do with it. NOTHING on my network can get out to the internet when the internet goes out. This includes my MacBook, my iMac (which is wired), my iPhone, my AT&T CallVantage VoIP, my Windows laptop from work, my Xbox 360...everything. When it goes out I can access anything on my network including my NAS, network printer, etc. It's just the internet that becomes inaccessible. |

1 edit | Hmmmm...I haven't been having speed issues that I know of. Every time I've done a speed test they've been right up where they're supposed to be. When I had problems last week they weren't speed issues. Internet was totally gone, and a power cycle of just the Time Capsule would bring things back.
That post you referenced was from today, and I haven't had any problems at all today that I'm aware of. |

Jacksonville, FL | I realize that the dates were off, but the 8th hop on the post from that forum shows a time out which I thought could have been part of the problem.
From your latest post, it sounds now like there is some other issue. I don't have any with experience with Time Capsule, so I'll leave any other suggestions up to the pros.  |
