When it's up and running on your network, try running the uptime command to see if the processor is maxed out i.e close to or grater than 1. Our's would do that when I had BT throttling it place on it, ntop also add's a good deal of overhead to the unit. If the neteq's bogged down it will do EXACTLY what you are experiencing. BM
