Re: Help with disconnecting Westell Model 327W The random disconnection that you're seeing is because of your margins being low. Typically, any margin below 6 on the downstream and 9 on the upstream shows a sign that you may lose the sync. Since you're already on Interleaved, there's not much we can help you with here since you seem to be a bit too far out for the full 3Mbps service. Because of that, you can downgrade to 1.5Mbps/386kbps service for stability and consider getting FastPath once that's done to lower pings, or you can keep your current speed and let the modem resync when it needs to until it finds a stable level it can hold at reliably. Again, I'm judging this on the fact that your attenuation levels look fine and accurate.
There is a chance that ADSL2+ is out where you are. Since I believe the Westell 327w supports ADSL2+ (correct me if I'm wrong), it wouldn't hurt to stop over into the Verizon Direct forum here to see if you can get moved onto an ADSL2+ line card to get you more speed and margin over your line. |

Would that cost more than the plan I'm at right now? |
