Rough estimate, based on how long it took to reach a certain quantity of files on the HDD: 30 GB to 50 GB per month. But that was before we upgraded the DirecTV account to HD+DVR, and got the HR-21 receiver. I connected that into the LAN, and have pulled in some VOD programming, which comes in over the ATTIS connection.
I have no baseline, but plan to install WallWatcher, and see if it can track usage. That may still be off because the router apparently doesn't log outbound packets.
I tend to download some fansubbed anime on speculation (title looks interesting). I'll probably just be more selective about what I grab.
