Re: what's more appealing

quote:
What's more appealing to you folks: 12Mbps/2Mbps for $42.95, 16Mbps/2Mbps for $52.95, 22Mbps/5Mbps for $62.95, or 50Mbps/10Mbps for $139.95?
The "sweet spot" for bandwidth-hungry people is obviously the 22mbit/5mbit plan, because after which the price suddenly doubles.

People downgrading from the 16/2 plan to the 12/2 plan makes sense, because quite honestly 4mbit isn't worth an extra US$120/year.

Recommendations for Comcast:

1) Drop the 12/2 plan entirely and give 16/2 to everyone for a slightly-increased price of US$47.95. That would make everyone happy, and simultaneously get them more money (from the previous 12/2 users).

2) Turn the 16/2 plan into 16/3 or 16/3.5. That would make the plan much more appealing, since what most of us want is an upstream increase!
