Lancaster, CA | Wish I could switch! I live in an apartment and used to have TWC and Roadrunner. Last spring the apartment complex threw out TWC and went with Directv provided by Consolidated Systems. Since Directv does not provide broadband service, Consolidated Systems was going to provide cable broadband service. I had never heard of Consolidated Systems and what I found out about them did not give me good feeling that I would receive high quality service (especially since they were charging more than TWC for Roadrunner service). I had a Verizon landline, so instead I got Verizon DSL. Yesterday, I received the notorious email about the changes being made to Verizon Yahoo. I don't see anything I will be gaining by these changes. I will be paying premium dollars for DSL service and getting mediocre service.
