Re: HN9000 always reveiving data

It started after an outage Tuesday night. After that, the receive light has been blinking ever since. Apparently tech support said it was out of their knowledge base and the engineers are working on it. However, even with packets coming in all day I didn't exceed the FAP last night. Although, it was the same amount of browsing that I did Wednesday to exceed it.

Mine does it all the time, says I exceeded FAP even when no one is using the computer, Customer service says it may be software updates for Windows. That is all they will tell me.

After I first plugged back into the internet after 4 months, I've been on FAP that last week because of all the updates.

Set your windows updates to happen during the free period or on demand. Motive which is a program that should be installed on your machine at installation should have set windows updates to the free period. There was considerable issues early on getting the software to install. THere is a web page we use to correct a failed installation of the software.

Is there a link for the Motive program?

Thanks!
