| Screw the adds, it's the AntiVirus software, stupid! Who cares about the ads??? You can use your POP email client and never see and ad.
The more important issue is that I will now have to spend $150/year on antivirus software for my 5 Windoze PCs. This is a MAJOR downgrade. AFAIK, every other ISP gives you AV software for free. I know I can get that buggy POS AVG for free, but who needs that (go out and read their forums if you think you can live with Free AVG 8.0)?
When my year is up I will be doing a serious price/performance review and I urge all Verizon customers to do the same. Also, if yer not too GD lazy, send them a FEEDBACK email letting them know how you feel. |
