If Sprint can Survive for the next two years they will end up on top. If they can get a few hit phones that's Wimax enabled they can change the game. Every other carrier will be playing catch up. |

2 edits | I live in TN as well. I have been with Sprint for over 9 years now and can not think of a good reason to change to another provider. I get a much better price for comparable service. I have a Verizon phone through work as well. I have been in areas where one worked and the other did not. That goes for both companies. You must live in a real rural area. Sprint has great coverage in TN, they have for a while now. |

| I drove from Missouri to Florida and stayed in Chattanooga. Was streaming radio on my Sprint Treo to car radio almost the entire time with no major issues, just a bit of rebuffering once in a while. Had EVDO the whole time including rural TN. (BTW, it ate about 1GB to stream radio for two days of 10-12 hour driving.)
Never had to roam but Sprint does have the best roaming agreements of any carrier. I was able to get signal in very obscure parts of South Dakota to Wyoming. Sprint actually covers a few more % area than Verizon when including roaming for each.
They have added about 5,000 CDMA sites to existing iDen sites recently and now have very very good coverage. Support is better too. The problem is, anyone who had problems in the past will continue to bitch about how much Sprint sucks. They could be the better carrier in a year yet perception will still hurt them for a long long time.
It's a real shame Sprint matched ATT/Verizon on the 5GB limit. They really have to find ways to differentiate themselves in order to draw attention. |

| I think their reasoning may have been that they would wind up with all the people thrown off the other networks for using too much bandwidth. This would hurt their ability to be able to provide service at a reasonable rate. They still offer comparable service for a better price than AT&T or Verizon. |
