Well you'd think so from reading these "doom is upon us", "AT&T sucks", "I'm cancelling my AT&T service today" posts.
But, no. AT&T has announced a trial, starting next month IIRC, in Reno, Nevada. If it does roll out nationally, it'll be months down the road, and the terms may change.
And it still has a good chance (from what I hear) that it still might fall flat on it's face. -- If you have a topic in the direct forum please reply to it or a post of mine, I get a notification when you do this. Koetting Ford, Granite City, illinois... YOU'RE FIRED!!
