The old Clearwire also had no marketing push of any kind. Now that they will become a major multi-$B company, they'll probably have a real marketing group.
They couldn't afford a real marketing group, they were underfunded. Sprint will own 51% of New Clearwire. Another 22% will be owned by the companies providing that multibillion investment.
