| [Help] Saving Adobe .pdf files
We recently installed a Ricoh all-in-one in our office. When I scan documents to a folder on my computer is there a way to break that file down and save individual pages to separate folders on my computer?
In other words, lets say I scan 10 sheets of paper all at one time. The scanner then sends these 10 pages to my computer as one file. I then go to that file and would like to take page 1 only and put it into a folder by itself. Then do that same thing for each page.
I can highlight each individual page and copy it to the clipboard but I am not able to paste it into a separate folder. |

| If the Ricoh all-in-one will not scan the pages to individual pdfs, then you can get one of the PDF tools that will "split" multi-page pdf doc into separate page; e.g., PDFill PDF Tools PDFTK Builder: (scroll down towards bottom of page)
Or use one of the PDF editor apps (Acrobat, Foxit, etc.) to split multi-page pdf doc into separate page.

If I understand what you're doing correctly, you're just copying image of the page, would have to paste from the clipboard into another app's document and then save. |

| Thanks for getting back to me on this. I think I've got the problem solved. I was putting the complete stack of papers in the machine and scanning them all at once. I don't need to do that. I found that it doesn't take too much extra time just putting one page at a time in and creating separate files for each page. Then I just rename them and store them in the separate folders I have created.
Finally (maybe) I can get rid of this cabinet behind me with all these certified test reports and just store them electronically. (yeah I know....we're still living in the dark ages but we're getting there ) |

But if you have a lot of pages to be scanned, and want/need each page to be a separate pdf, I would see if the Ricoh all-in-one could scan multiple pages as separate pdfs so one would not have to scan one page at a time. |
