[Help] Saving Adobe .pdf files

We recently installed a Ricoh all-in-one in our office. When I scan documents to a folder on my computer is there a way to break that file down and save individual pages to separate folders on my computer?

In other words, lets say I scan 10 sheets of paper all at one time. The scanner then sends these 10 pages to my computer as one file. I then go to that file and would like to take page 1 only and put it into a folder by itself. Then do that same thing for each page.

I can highlight each individual page and copy it to the clipboard but I am not able to paste it into a separate folder.

If the Ricoh all-in-one will not scan the pages to individual pdfs, then you can get one of the PDF tools that will "split" multi-page pdf doc into separate page; e.g.,
PDFill PDF Tools
PDFTK Builder: (scroll down towards bottom of page)

Or use one of the PDF editor apps (Acrobat, Foxit, etc.) to split multi-page pdf doc into separate page.

If I understand what you're doing correctly, you're just copying image of the page, would have to paste from the clipboard into another app's document and then save.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I think I've got the problem solved. I was putting the complete stack of papers in the machine and scanning them all at once. I don't need to do that. I found that it doesn't take too much extra time just putting one page at a time in and creating separate files for each page. Then I just rename them and store them in the separate folders I have created.

Finally (maybe) I can get rid of this cabinet behind me with all these certified test reports and just store them electronically. (yeah I know....we're still living in the dark ages but we're getting there )

TIP: With PDFCreator you can print several different items and then print (merge) into one PDF file if you need to. E.g. 2007 Electric Bills ~ scanned all 12 and then printed as one PDF file.

That's one (dark ages) way.

But if you have a lot of pages to be scanned, and want/need each page to be a separate pdf, I would see if the Ricoh all-in-one could scan multiple pages as separate pdfs so one would not have to scan one page at a time.
