Re: Expensive =\ said by adfsf141 :
Isn't Sprint everything plan give you unlimited text and data? Then just get a PDA and you tether all you want.
I have the old SERO ($30/month) and I can tether all I want. You arent suppose to and some have been given quite the hefty data bill for tethering with there phones without a Phone as Modem plan. Occasional usage seems to be OK though. -- Usenet Accounts |

1 edit | My bills still say unlimited online. Do other peoples say 5 GB? |

| Mine says unlimited, but the Vision Data plan is for "casual" phone based usage, not tethering. I believe the TOS states that when we signed up. If you had phone as modem it would say 5 GBs. -- Usenet Accounts |

 | I have never come close to 5 GB. You are correct about the TOS too. |

 | Sounds like my "unlimited pay check" just has a cap on it each month to prevent me from abusing it.
If it's unlimited, then there is no cap, period, end of discussion. If they have abusers, for example: like starbucks hooking these up and allowing multiple people to use it; then they should drop those abusers, but if it's advertised as unlimited, there should be no cap AT ALL. |

Re: Expensive =\ Yes, like my "unlimited paycheck". If I decide to work 80 hours a week and get a bunch of overtime without the approval of my manager I will get paid for 80 hours that week. And the next week I will no longer have a job. Much like the "unlimited" data plan will allow you to download as much as you want, and if you go over 5 months you will find yourself without service the next month. |
