The scary thing to me right now is that we are definitely drinking too much Kool-Aid if we think this man is going to benefit this country. What amazes me is that the people who run this gov't think they're such intelligent, elite folks -- yet they haven't learned what we all learned the first time we got out on our own. It doesn't work to spend more that you have. Period, end of story. We are living off borrowed money from China!! An astronomical national debt of trillions of dollars and they're tiptoeing through the tulips handing out blank checks to all the fat cats. Basically, our economy is a house of cards, yet the congress keeps printing up those bills which are backed up with NOTHING! And those banks? Rather than lend and get it going again, what are they doing? THey're buying up more banks and feathering their own nests. I see no end to it and the house is going to collapse.
Regarding what the poster said about "if Obama is 10% better than Bush, he'll be our Savior". Here's my prediction: By the end of a term of Obama, (probably more like a year) Jimmy Carter will look like the best President this country has ever had! |
