I've been a Comcast phone customer since 2001...when they were using AT&T's switches for their backbone, and after they started using their IP backbone. I've never had a problem with it and it's been very reliable for me.
I hate to love anything comcast, but gotta give them props on this one. They seem to be doing things right with their phone service.
