 [Connectivity] New Upstream speed? Docsis 3.0?

I live 10m South of Boston. I have Blast! 16/2 an Arris 502G. Today I reset my modem and noticed that my upstream channel is completely different. New frequency, Docsis used to say 1.x (TDMA), now it says 2.0 and the speed was 2460k and is now doubled. I had heard we were getting Docsis 3.0 "any day".. Is this a sign?
