The Future, Maybe? I don't know how many of you have read William Shatner's Tekwar series. In my opinion this is one of the most prophetic Science fiction series I have ever read. In it the Internet is called the Matrix, sound familiar  In this series there is a Matrix Police force who patrols the Matrix in it's virtual world. There are also hackers which in this series are called Matrix Riders. I have always felt this series gives a glimpse of the future of the internet.
