I thought I'd just post a quick note to mention that the scheduled TSI maintenance window starts Friday at mightnight (ie, early in the morning), not tonight as many are expecting.
This has been confirmed by a few people now.
Thanks. |

Due to required network maintenance, there will be a disruption in service for Ontario and Quebec on Thursday November 13, 2008 from 1200 AM EST until 0600 AM EST.

You are right in that 12:00AM is the START of the day (00:00 hours). Based on that fact and the post on TekSavvy's website the outage should be Thursday early morning aka in a few hours.
EDIT: Maybe these notifications should be changed to read: "Thursday Nov 13 00:01 to 06:00" to avoid any confusion. |

| reply to BonkersInc Just a note that this is a technical service. I would expect them to use modern time nomenclature, not old style analogue US time format. Note that the USA military uses the modern time, not the USA time format.
00:00 to 06:00 on Nov 13 is precise and has no possible confusion.
This is a serious internet service, it sould use serious time nomenclature in its announcements. |
