Watched it from the Roof! We had to hurry home, but we got there in time to put the kids up on the roof and watch it live. I love the night launches. Got to see John Glenn go up, how ever many years ago that was.
We're on the Gulf coast, so we saw the flames from the main booster assembly, saw that drop away; saw the whiter flame from the second stage and I think we saw that seperate about a minute later.
All in all, the show was a full five minutes, even with the cloud cover on the horizon.
Living in Florida has it's perks.
OT: My 15 year old was in an animation class last year. For his final project he submitted a project proposal to animate the dead.
His teacher rejected it, none too happily; I'm told.
