Not in the US unless it's T-mobile. ATT said they are in no rush for LTE since they plan to rely on higher speeds of HSPA for quite a few years. Verizon has to do a major overhaul to get LTE out and I suspect they won't rush into it unless WiMAX is showing significant success. There could be a few LTE pilots in the US within 3-4 years though.

It's disconcerting that many think this is like a format war. WiMAX/LTE is not like the blueray/hddvd or betamax/vhs battle. It can compared to cable and dsl. Both co-exist and used by what resources are available to each vendor. WiMAX will be pushed by the IEEE/cable/consumer electronics industry and LTE will be pushed by the telcom industry. If you move to Baltimore you can already get Mobile WiMax. Its being provided by Sprint/Clearwire, and so far the reviews look promising.
