Check out your system temps, make sure everything looks normal. In the meantime, you might consider dropping the OC on the CPU and seeing if the problems subside.

I get really sporadic framerate issues, choppy gameplay and such. I always get about 30-50ms in pings, so that's not an issue.

System specs.

Amd X2 4200+ socket 939
2GB OCZ DDR 400
Nvidia 8800GS with latest drivers
250GB Sata II HD
Soundblaster Audigy
550 Watt Coolermaster PSU w/active PFC.

I did a virus scan (avast) and a malware scan (A-Squared free) and nothing came up.

I also ran a defrag (auslogics) and a registry defrag (auslogics).

I went from like 80+ FPS in COD2 1280x1024 to like 35fps......really crazy.

CPU is overclocked, but the video card is not.

Any ideas?
