patcat88 : I never understood how wifi is supposed to help the ghettos magically turn into WASPy productive suburbs. Slow $20/$25 broadband is offered by most incumbent cable/tel ISPs. Computers are also easily available from used sources nowadays. I found a 2.4 ghz P4 abandoned today on the streets (missing a PS). Otherwise works fine.

And BTW, you can always goto the library or an internet cafe (works great in dirt poor Nigeria), no botnets that way either.
