| reply to SinNombre Re: ATT bundle or DISH TV?
I have the AT&T phone, internet, Dish network, cell phone bundled together so they all come on one bill and get discounts for doing it. When I ordered Dish from AT&T I could sign a one year commitment for $50 off or just sign up. Maybe where you are there is no commitment for Dish with AT&T....
But I don't see anything about signing a commitment now on their web site for my state.
quote: AT&T | DISH NETWORK: Requires credit approval, valid major credit card and qualifying programming purchase, AT&T local service and combined bill. Prices assume continuous connection to phone line for any dual-tuner receiver and exclude complex installation, if necessary, and applicable taxes. Prices, discounts, packages and programming subject to change without notice. Local and state sales taxes may apply. Where applicable, monthly equipment rental fees and programming are taxed separately. One-time $49.99 activation fee applies and includes standard installation of up to 4 tuners. Activation Fee is completely non-refundable once the system is activated. Prices valid at time of activation only; additional fees will apply to upgrade after installation. Programming price includes first receiver fee; $5/mo. for each additional standard or DVR receiver, $7/mo. for each HD or HD/DVR receiver. $5/mo. Programming Access Fee applies for second tuner in any dual-tuner receiver but is waived if receiver is continuously connected to same phone line. DISH Network's process is sole method of determining required connection. All equipment remains the property of DISH Network and is leased and must be returned to DISH Network within 15 days of cancellation, suspension or disconnection to avoid unreturned equipment charges. Limit 4 tuners per account; dual-tuner receivers count as two. No more than two dual-tuner receivers per account are permitted (including no more than one HD DVR receiver), or a total of four single-tuner receivers per account (including no more than two single-tuner HD receivers). $5.98/mo. DISH Network DVR service fee applies for each DishDVR. $99 lease upgrade fee may apply for a second DishDVR dual-tuner receiver. This lease upgrade fee is not a deposit and is non-refundable. A $7/mo HD Enabling fee will be charged to an account that has one or more HD receivers but doesn't carry the dish HD package. $5/mo. discount applies to AT&T customers purchasing America's Top 200 or DishLATINO Dos programming package or higher. Local channels are only available in specified local Designated Market Areas (DMA) and additional charges apply. Channels may vary by market. Certain local channels may require an additional dish antenna installed free of charge at initial installation. All services subject to terms and conditions of the promotion agreement and Residential Customer Agreement, which are provided at time of installation and are also available at att.com/attdishnetwork or upon request. Social Security Numbers are used to obtain credit scores and will not be released to third parties except for verification and collection purposes or if required by governmental authorities. Customer authorizes DISH Network to investigate creditworthiness. Customer further authorizes DISH Network to report any payment defaults to credit reporting agencies. | Yeah didn't see anything in the fine print in their brochures about contract length, either. But at one store they tell me it's all month to month - at another, they tell me it's two years. Not sure.
I know next year ATT is going to go with D-TV, but it doesnt matter to me. I could use a switch from Time Warner sooner than that, regardless whether it's DISH or not. Even if I only save about $15 with everything together, DISH would be much better than what TW has to offer and when ATT rolls fiber out in my area next year, I could jump onto some faster internet, I hope. | | pa555 Seconds Last

Sounds like you need to call AT&T and get signed up for the bundle. Good luck.

I have a debit card Who said you need a credit check AT&T or Dish? As for a credit card you can just get one for this onetime deal and then cut it up. Lot's of cards out their have 0% for 6 months.
