The video's sound is 64 kbps mp3 MONO.
Others sites such as www.dailymotion.com offers stereo sound. |

Have you ever tried the &fmt=18 trick? On all videos uploaded since the start of 2008, I can get Stereo sound at 128kbps sound or 192kbps sound from a YouTube video with higher quality video. The &fmt=18 trick even makes you go to faster servers  . This should work for you if you have a recent version of Flash player and you know the proper way it's supposed to be in. Compare these two videos and let me know what you think quality wise they are. Don't use the embedded players on this page, only use the links below the embedded players.

But overall, this is a good move. Sure it may slow down the YouTube servers a bit, but it'll at least maybe keep some piracy down. |
