DVD-VR VRO files

I have some 8cm DVD-RW's recorded in VR mode on a Samsung video camera in VRO file format. I am trying to put them onto a full size DVD. I tried Nero but that just closes itself while its supposed to 'transcoding' I have managed to do it with TMPGEnc Authoring Works but on playback every time there is a transition it pixellates for a second before and after. Can anyone suggest a fix?

Does it pixelate when you play the DVD on the computer?

Yeah, the originals play fine just the copies pixellate and only where there is a cut in the scene.

I'm not sure what you're asking about exactly, but if you're working with VRO files, you might try using MPEG Streamclip. I started using it originally because the Panasonic DVR I have spits out those file types every time I put something on a DVD-RAM disk. I am able to edit the material recorded as well as demux the files for use elsewhere in other applications. You might find use for it.

I assume you mean the problem is occurring where the files are joined together. In which case, don't join them together. Any decent authoring program will allow the files to playback sequentially and allow you to setup chapter points for selecting each file individually.
