I got a 2wire 2701HG-B, which has a reputation for working well with crappy phone lines. [My wire dates back to when Jimi Hendrix walked the earth.]<br><br>The 2701HG-B worked right out of the box once I put in the obvious settings. However, this particular modem has many things that can be tweaked, so here is what I have set and the options.
