CoD4 kept MP stats and rankings, guns, etc in a local profile in your file system. This sucked because mine got corrupted one time after my pnkbstrk.sys file caused a bluescreen, and I lost all my guns. Well, I feel it was dumb of Activision to store that kind of data locally anyway. Does anybody know if they changed this in CoD5? If it is now kept on THEIR servers and tied to my CD key I will buy the game.
Yes, it's kept on their servers and tied to your CD-Key.
