| Re: Call of Duty: World at War MP profile question The COD5 profile folder is in a different location than COD4. You will find it at: C>Users>Name>AppData>Local>Activision>CaDWaW>Players.
If this folder gets damaged or corrupted, you will lose your weapons and stats.
I always copy mine to a second hard drive every few days. | |

I stuck my backup copy in place, and everything was restored. | |

When I installed COD 5, the first thing I did was figure out the new hiding place for the profile so I could make updated copies from time to time.
It sure starts you back at ground zero if you nuke your profile folder. | |
