There is 1 small bit of fine print - it is for 1 computer ONLY.

So, if you have a couple PCs at home, this isn't for you unless you want to commit fraud and sign up using separate email addresses and separate authorization codes.

Fraud?

Perhaps they mean for ONE computer PER free license download?

If you have 4 people in your family, and 4 computers, and each installs it on their own, is that fraud? Or what if I do it for them?

No, I think it's simply one download/key combination per computer. Do they state you may only sign up once per person?

It is 1 download per customer as per their press release:
»download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/···r_9.html
The Check Point ZoneAlarm Pro promotion begins at 6 a.m. PST on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 and ends 6 a.m. PST on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008. The offer, which represents a $40 value, includes a full year license for one PC, and is limited to only one download per customer.
The question is what do they consider a customer - a residence? each person in a residence?; etc.

But I wouldn't be at all surprised that they check the IP addr of the person submitting a request for a free license and only award 1 license per IP addr.

Last time I checked, each person in my household is able to buy things on their own.

So yes, one person = one customer.

I admire your ability to always blindly look out for the bottom line.
