Dreamweaver - Multiple Authors Problem

legendNYC : We have a few guys who update our web site. We are a Dreamweaver shop (CS3; MX2004) and recently there has been a problem with new content replacing existing content during updates. When the pages are updated earlier edits no longer appear.

I spoke with Adobe, and they suggested we make sure the remote site info is correct, and URL's and file names are not changed during udpates.

The CS3 authors report that when they connect to the remote site their local files are automatically updated. With MX2004, I get a copy of the remote file before applying changes.

I suspect this is a training issue more than a technical issue. Any suggestions are welcome!
