Why?

I can see this lasting until the first dumb ass wrecks while typing an email. At that point the whole mess will become a liability and insurance companies will be charging higher premiums if you have this in a new car. You can't trust idiots as it is and you certainly won't be able to once people start having internet access in the car. One good idea would be to have it shut off if the car is in drive and there is no one in any of the passenger seats, much like they do airbags.
