I think this was just during talks with the wholesalers, with regards to bell opening up ADSL2+ to the wholesalers. They wanted UBB, and were told to stuff it...
I don't think it has anything to do with the current service we get under the GAS tariff (ADSL1).

| yeah there was a meeting last summer about this. I recall Rocky missed it because he was away on business.
I recall Paul from Acanac posted the minutes or notes (or something) of the meeting they had with Bell that Rocky missed in the CDN broadband forum last summer.
Specifically it affected the 5-meg service.
The adsl2+ services were another B/W limit that would be the same as Bell's.
It was two different things.
I'll see if i can find it... I don't have much luck with the search feature of this forum. |

isn't this kinda illegal, it make me think of the oil compagny (ultramar..etc) in the Sherbrooke region, that were calling each other up to fix gas price
they would raise their price all at the same time for a predetermined price, now they are facing the justice,
i think ultramar pleaded guilty |

Portage La Prairie, MB | It's only illegal if they collude to price fix. Companies can partner and agree to offer the same product. They just can't agree to the same product and same price.
