1 edit		 Just for the Heckuvit, Download the Memtest86+ utility (either the Bootable Floppy Disk image, or the Bootable CD .ISO image) from Here: »www.memtest.org and give your RAM a Thorough Checkup.

File Corruption (especially when Downloading or Transferring files over your Network connection, or Direct HD to HD Transfer), May *possibly* be caused by a Faulty RAM stick...
