Re: Any news in regards to forced wholesale B/W changes by Bell?

said by koreyb:

My understanding was it only applied to 5m service IF ISP's agreed to an agreement for ADSL2+.

The ISP's all told bell to stuff it, and now has been on the back burner due to the throttle issue.
Was it? Maybe you and Hivolt right then. But when I went through it i didn't see any reference to this.

Would be nice to know to put the warning out there to those even thinking of leaving for a wholesaler. They don't have much time to make the switch before its too late.

Videotron pulled this exact same manouver (almost) on its resellers just a couple of months ago. They filed with the crtc and the crtc didn't get one complaint and allowed it. No one knew! Just another obscure filing that went unnoticed, but had big effects.
