Re: nifty! I think the whole point is to try and get more Gold subscribers and Xbox 360 owners, not just get existing Gold members to purchase a Netflix subscription. Only about 50% of the ~10 million Xbox 360 owners are currently Gold members.
I'm sure with Reed Hastings, the founder/CEO of Netflix, sitting as one of Microsoft's board of directors, they worked out a sweet deal that will squeeze the maximum amount of money from everyone. |
