Oh goodie - imagine the bills!

If a telco or cable provider starts offering these services we'll see line items like:

Services:
$0.96 First lighting device
$0.20 Initial lighting managed device fee
$0.74 Additional lighting device
$0.10 Managed device fee
$1.06 First refrigeration device
$0.20 Initial refrigeration managed device fee
...

Taxes and fees:
$3.62 Federal utility interconnection recovery fee
$1.24 Regulatory utility interconnection fund
...

And just think of all the additional fees they'll be able to tack onto existing TVs! This sounds great!
