Have you tried creating a filter to delete message in which the from address is the user's?

One issue, I have a salesman that needs his secretary to get his email, needed to put the account into recent mode. This way two computers can download the same account and get all messages. Normally, first one to send/receive gets the message.

If it wasn't for the difference in folders(Outlook) and Labels(Google). I would switch to imap from pop, but my users short circuit with the smallest change....
