I would say an underpowered system. Upgrade your CPU.

1 edit		 It's a 2.4 GHz P4. I don't think that should be an issue for simply playing sound in real time. Besides the CPU usage is only hovering around 13%. Perhaps the sound card has a problem. I'll bet I have another one around here somewhere.
