|  Looking for a Game I played as a kid
I'm looking for the title of a PC game I played when I was younger in the mid 90's. I don't remember much about it but the game involved building little cities and units. You could play a variety of races including dwarf or human. There were mages who cast spells. The fighting units would go out and fight enemy strongholds. The enemies were creatures in some places like a nest of monsters. When you beat a nest, your units gained experience. I know I haven't given too much detail but any help would be appreciated. |

No, it was not Might and Magic but thanks for the help. The more I think about ti, more details pop up. I remember you could build buildings and you could see the builders on the scaffolding constructing the building. |

I am thinking one of the warcraft games too.. Did you have guys called peons and when you clicked on them they would say little funny things...

I don't think it's Warcraft since he said units gain XP. It sounds like either Heroes of Might & Magic (not to be confused with the Might and Magic RPGs) or Majesty |

First of all, thank you all for the responses. It was not any of the Warcraft games. I have played all of them and they are among my favorite PC games. The game wasn't one of the Heroes games either. I just looked at the synopsis of Warlords and it doesn't look like the game I am thinking of but it sounds freaking cool. I think when you beat the nests of bad guys you received gold. Also, the way it looked when you attacked the enemy nest/castle/hive the enemy units came pouring out. I think you could be mages who shot magic darts. |
