Re: New Phone Order Activation Time Lines As far as I have seen, these are pretty common times across the board. I know that when I do an order for to bring a rogers digital number (clec) to a bell line the required due date is the same 10 bus days. I was told that this was because of some crtc regs... as to how accurate i cannot say, I can check in our reference manual tomorrow.
note... thats for the convertion between companies, from say rogers to bell, or bell to teksavvy.
The rest of the times... well that's really quite crazy
A feature change or phone number change should take 12 hours
A name display change 12 hours as well
A directory change should take 4 days
A move order, typically 2-5 days depending on the facilities at the new location
Even granting the time that it takes for Teksavvy to send the order to the carrier services group at bell, then the time for them to sit around and work on the order... it should not take nearly that long...
