If the CRTC is presumed to be representing the best interests of the Canadian public, how is it acceptable for the vice-chairman to have a combined 28 year history working for the two biggest private telecom companies? You cannot expect objective decision-making with such a high potential for direct or indirect personal benefit. All taxpayers should be deeply concerned about the structure and culture of the CRTC. -- Do you ever get the feeling that the only reason we have elections is to find out if the polls were right?
