[Equipment] How to get a PLUS (+) sign in the caller number vt24

Need this sip:+1234567890@whatever.com;Transport=tcp INCLUDING the (+) Sign. Unable to get the vt2442 to accept that as a part of the field, seems to strip it out.
Anyone know if there is someting in the XML file that could be set to get past this?
I am also going to try this %2b1234567890 when i get another chance to play with it.

If that doesn't work, try to add a "\" in front of the %, i.e. \%2b1234567890, and see if that will do the trick.

Re: [Equipment] How to get a PLUS (+) sign in the caller number

Thanks for your suggestions. No Joy still. I did figure out the SSH inerface and got into the Telogy Software Interface MXP> prompt. This is a great way to quickly make and apply changes and try the call again.
I tryed (at least ) the following:
set tcid 0 cid number '\%2b1999000115555'
set tcid 0 cid number '\+1999000115555'
set tcid 0 cid number '+1999000115555'
set tcid 0 cid number '001999000115555'
set tcid 0 cid number '1999000115555'
along with an activate command...no joy man.

It refuses to send along the plus sign and Raketu wont place the call.
Trying to get my 10 bucks back from these guys, what a shame cuz at least they HAVE a working customer support email system unlike those betamax jerks.

You may want to try those FREE PBX services out there. Perhaps, they support a + sign through their asterisk system. Then, configure your ATA devices to the PBX server they provide.
