Just so I'm sure, the adapter for my laptop has a line that reads:
Output: 19V --- 3.42A(3.42A)

When looking at a non-OEM replacement which might not list specific model numbers, are the critical specs to consider the output - 19 volts for his Gateway adapter - and the right kind of adapter tip?
