It's part of the HD expansion. We in SEPa got it earlier this week (even though the Nov. listing says "coming soon"). |

I don't get any of the Encore channels in HD, would be a nice addition as the Encores are easily the worst looking of the premium SD movie channels. I don't know if' it's Verizon's fault though, the Encore channels always looked terrible for me, on Directv as well.  |

As mentioned above, ONLY Encore1 (Encore East?) showed up in the latest rollout of new HD channels here in SEPA. It's channel 850 and the next one on the list is 865 - Showtime East. So, there are 14 more slots available to add more Encore channels later (provided they don't add things like The Knitting Channel HD or Basket Weaving HD and suck up bandwidth).
