anon : I have a switch to swich connection and frequently I see CRC errors on the Trunk ports between the two switches. I was told by a friend this indicates a bad or dirty fiber cable. I've searched online but I do not see any information confirming this. Is this true and/or are there other causes for crc errors on a trunk port?
